I'm Wildan Alfa Raezel, currently an S1 Teknik Komputer student at Universitas Amikom Yogyakarta, with a focus on Internet of Things and Embedded Systems.

Across coursework, commissioned projects, and personal builds, I have worked on the full IoT signal path: from sensor and PCB to MQTT broker and dashboard. My strongest skills are in embedded firmware (C/C++, MicroPython) and IoT communication protocols.

What matters most to me is systems that keep working after handover. The devices I build have to withstand dropped networks and power cuts, and keep running in daily use without me nearby.

VIBRADoor — Wireless Vibrating Doorbell for Deaf Students

ESP32 + MQTT wireless doorbell system for deaf students — a commissioned build. A bell button at the classroom door sends a vibration alert to a wearable wristband worn by the student. One pair is deployed and in daily use at SLB Damayanti Sleman, Yogyakarta. Total BOM: Rp 366k per pair.

Presensi SMPN 2 Paliyan — IoT School Attendance (RFID + ESP32)

IoT school attendance system for SMPN 2 Paliyan — a campus/community project with the school as partner. Students tap an RFID card on an ESP32 gate device (or enter their NIPD on the keypad as a fallback), data flows to a Flask server, and attendance is monitored in real time through an admin dashboard and a parent portal. The device is installed and in daily use.

EIAS — Emergency Input & Alert Station

Integrated emergency-button system for a campus environment: an ESP32 field station (panic button, 4x4 keypad, I2C LCD) forwards alerts in real time to a Flutter app for on-duty officers — with push notifications that arrive even when the app is closed, and running entirely on free-tier services. 2nd place at AMICTA 2026 and a registered software copyright (HKI).

  • IoT-based school attendance system (campus/community team project) — installed and used for daily attendance at SMPN 2 Paliyan.
  • My contribution: the ESP32 firmware, the gate-device hardware assembly (RC522 RFID, keypad, LCD, DS3231 RTC, W5500 Ethernet, SD card, UPS backup), and the backend server (Flask + Firebase Firestore).
  • Fault-tolerant device: SD-card store-and-forward through network drops and a UPS through power outages; watchdog + scheduled reboot for 24/7 operation.

  • Developed PAYCAY, an end-to-end smart EV charging station (SPKLU) system that won 1st place (Produk IoT) at ARCADIA 2026 — built solo across firmware, backend, web, and mobile.
  • ESP32 firmware (PZEM-004T metering + RC522 RFID + AC relay), Flask backend with a real-time Socket.IO dashboard, Firebase Realtime DB, and a Flutter companion app.
